Meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic

Working meeting of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and ceo of TRANSPETROL, a. s., Ján Horkovič with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic, J. E. Igor Bratčikov

On 10 March 2021, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of TRANSPETROL, a. s., Ján Horkovič and a member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Section for Operations and Transport Martin Ruzinský met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Slovak Republic, J. E. Igor Bratčikov. This working meeting was held with the participation of the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic, Sergei Stupar.

During the meeting, the two parties agreed that the long-standing cooperation between TRANSNEFT and TRANSPETROL, a. s., creates a stable basis that facilitates the exchange of knowledge and information in a given segment.

The topic of the meeting was also questions about the possibility of supplying Russian piping products to a Slovak company.

They also paid attention to the possibilities of cooperation of Russian experts in the diagnosis of the Družba oil pipeline.

The pipeline shall be protected throughout its length by a protection zone defined by vertical surfaces running at a horizontal distance of 300 m on both sides of the pipeline and used to ensure the smooth operation of the pipeline and to ensure the safety of persons and property, and owners and users of immovable property in the protection zone are obliged to refrain from anything which could damage the pipeline and endanger the continuity and safety of the operation.
Verification of the protection zone
